Social Responsibility
Kingscott Dix understand the need to be aware of the social and economic issues facing the local community in which we work and as a business we are actively engaged in supporting it.
To help achieve this our employees engage with charities, trusts and community associations by dedicating time to some selected causes. It is felt that this helps not only the charities involved but also stimulates and unifies our employees, proving a better more productive working environment.
We currently devoting time to two local charities.
1/ Oakland’s Camphill Village Trust in Newnham on Severn
Oakland’s Park is a busy rural community on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It offers opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and other support needs to live and work in a beautiful location, where their contributions are valued.
2/ The Cornerstone Centre situated in the middle of Oakley (Whaddon, Lynworth and Priors) Cheltenham. The centre provides a wide variety of activities and services to the community running sessions for adults with disabilities such as computer and creative art classes to providing a weekly soup lunch.
