Andrew joined KD in 1989 and qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2004.

Having spent his entire career with the firm, Andrew is well-known and respected by our clients for his sound knowledge and experience across a wide variety of sectors. His particular specialisms include management accountancy and business planning and forecasting. In addition, he is a key senior member of the Medical and Healthcare team.

In his spare time Andrew plays cricket for Newent and, when the demands of his young family allow, likes to escape to the golf course. He supports Manchester United, but the least said about that the better.

A chartered accountant and manager at our Cheltenham office, Rob works with a range of large and small businesses. He provides easy-to-understand advice, drawing on his fifteen years’ experience.

Although he works across all sectors, Rob has a special interest in Family businesses. He has also has a thorough understanding of Charities and advising in the Not-for-profit sector.

Previously Rob spent many years working at a large regional firm specialising in Corporate Services, and before that qualified with a traditional town accountancy firm. He joined Kingscott Dix in 2016.

Sally qualified as an Accounting Technician with Bristol-based firm, Lawes & Co in 1993. She worked in general practice in Bristol until joining our Cheltenham office in 2005.

Sally deals with a wide range of SMEs and undertakes all forms of audit work including limited companies, solicitors and charities.

When not facing up to the toils of house and garden, Sally spends her leisure time singing in  the local community choir and also enjoys live music, walking in the woods, films and reading.

Paul qualified in 1997 with London practice, Ledger Sparks and joined Kingscott Dix in 2008. As an auditor with a great deal of experience Paul and now manages a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. He works closely with a number of diverse businesses to examine best practice, plan audits and identify compliance and tax saving opportunities.

In his spare time, Paul is a co-manager of his son’s football team, keeps fit by running regularly and likes the occasional round of golf. He is passionate about music and has been learning classical guitar for a number of years. The rest of his time is taken up with his young family.

After graduating, Andrew began his accounting career firmly based in auditing with Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He gained a wide variety of experience in general practice and qualified in 1994. If it had not been accountancy, farming or forestry were next on the list.

His career path lead him to Kingscott Dix in 1997 where he extended his general practice skills, including the use of forensic accounting and utilizing advances in modern technology and software to drive essential progress in the field of accountancy and related disciplines.

Being with the family is a very important part of his life, but he also enjoys volunteer work for the Woodland Trust and playing skittles for a local team. Time in the garden is also an essential distraction.

Peter has over 40 years in the profession after starting out in 1971.

After 14 years at Deloittes, he became a founding member of Guilfoyle Sage and Co in 1998, managing the accounts department and a wide-ranging portfolio of clients, where he remained until being welcomed into the KD family in the summer of 2015.

He has a love of Gloucester rugby, railways, walking the dogs … and of course his long suffering wife Janice, who is the sole reason why he has two well-adjusted daughters!

Nick became gamekeeper turned poacher when he joined KD in 2004, having spent nearly 20 years at HMRC. His wide-ranging taxation expertise coupled with his experience of the Revenue’s internal workings makes him the ideal person to head up the firm’s tax department.

Nick’s activities outside of the office are mainly centred around sport. Whilst, these days, this tends to more of the watching rather than the participating variety, he will still turn out for any veterans’ rugby team willing to settle his bar tab.

Janina, originally from Yorkshire, qualified as an Accounting Technician in 1989.  She moved with her family to Gloucester in 1997 and joined the Cheltenham office of KD the following year.

Since that time, Janina has also qualified as a Taxation technician and now looks after a wide variety of SME and personal tax clients. In addition, she heads up the audits of our Cheltenham office solicitor clients.

Janina is a very popular member of staff in our Cheltenham Office team which might just have something to do with her baking skills. She regularly supplies a variety of cakes for birthdays and other special occasions and her speciality Lemon Drizzle (amongst other delicious confections) has earned her the title of the office “Mary Berry”.

Emma began her accountancy career straight after leaving school by starting an apprenticeship with a local accountancy firm. She was soon introduced to audit and qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2016. Emma joined Kingscott Dix in 2018 as an audit senior and has never looked back.

Emma specialises in SME audits, as well as group consolidated accounts, across many business sectors which include construction, wholesale and manufacturing. She is known throughout the Gloucester office as the ‘audit queen’.

Outside of the office, Emma is kept busy by her young family but enjoys swimming, traveling and spending time with friends.
