    Late filing & payment penalties

    Risk-based approach

HMRC continues to consider late filing and late payment penalties on a risk-assessed basis rather than issuing them automatically.

    Filing deadlines

Penalties are generally not charged if a Full Payment Submission (FPS) is filed late but within 3 days of the payment date, provided there is no pattern of persistent late filing.

    Payment deadlines

The due date to make PAYE payments electronically remains the 22nd of the month (or quarter). Non-electronic payments must be made by the 19th.

    What we handle for you

    Payslips & Administration

Customised payslips, administration of PAYE, national insurance, statutory sick pay, and statutory maternity pay.

    Statutory Forms

Completion of all necessary statutory forms, including year-end returns, to ensure you meet HMRC deadlines.

    CIS Returns

Full completion and submission of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns for contractors and subcontractors.

    Workplace Pensions

    Auto-enrolment Compliance

Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must put certain staff into a workplace pension scheme and contribute towards it. This process is called 'automatic enrolment'.

We can guide you through the entire process: setting up a scheme with your chosen provider, completing employee assessments, managing opt-ins/opt-outs, uploading contributions, and publishing all pension communications to employees.
